How it All Started

Pop-Up Playland was born out of a simple need: to create a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate party experience for toddlers. When Alex and Kelly were planning their son Ashton's first birthday, they struggled to find entertainment options that catered specifically to the littlest guests. Everything seemed either too overwhelming for toddlers or too simple to be engaging. After some searching, they came across soft play toys that were perfect for toddlers! After getting Ashton's stamp of approval, they set up a rental business to bring that same fun to toddler parties around Cincinnati. 

  • How is the equipment cleaned?
    Let's face it...toddlers aren't the cleanest of all people. That's why between events all equipment is thoroughly cleaned - including each and every ball, as well as sanitized with child-safe, hypoallergenic cleaning products.
  • Is your equipment safe for all ages?
    Our equipment is specifically designed for children under 5 years of age. Each piece is crafted to ensure safety and fun for young children with close supervision. We also provide toddler safe fences as well as padded floor mats. Please see liability waiver for more information.
  • Can your equipment be used outdoors?
    While we prefer indoor use - on a non-rainy day our equipment is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For outdoor events, we require a flat, clean surface and shade from direct sunlight. If the forecast changes, we'd request that you bring the party inside to avoid damaging the equipment.
  • What happens if equipment is damaged during my event?
    We understand accidents happen. Minor wear and tear is expected and won't incur extra charges. However, significant damage or loss may result in repair or replacement fees, detailed in our rental agreement.
  • How do I book with you?
    Visit our website and navigate to the booking page. Select your desired date and time, fill out the necessary details about your party, and submit your request. We'll get back to you promptly to confirm and finalize the details as well as collect payment.
  • How far in advance should I book?
    We recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons like summer and holidays.
  • Can I reschedule my booking?
    Yes, you can reschedule your booking up to 7 days before the event without any additional cost. Please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
    Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event are fully refundable. Cancellations within 14 days of the event date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
  • What areas do you serve and how much is delivery/set up?
    We serve the greater Cincinnati area. We're based in Loveland, and offer free delivery within 25 miles and then charge $2 a mile from Loveland.
  • How long does set up take, and do you stay for the party?
    Set-up typically takes about 30 minutes depending on the package. Once things are set up, we'll head out and be back later to pick up everything. We don't hang around or staff the party.
  • What else do you offer aside from the soft play party rentals?
    Right now, we just offer the soft play toys including ramps, ball pits, rockers, stairs and more. We do have some preferred vendors for the rest of your big day, including: Birthday Cake - We love A Spoon Fulla Sugar. They're local, do incredible cake designs and always go above and beyond. Just ask them about the Ms Rachel cake they did for our kids party. Catering - For kids parties we always love to have something good for the adults as well. We've loved the taco/nacho bar from Mazunte, fried chicken/mac and cheese from The Eagle, and BBQ catering from Pig Candy.
  • What is included in the base package price?
    Our Party Playtime Essentials package includes a selection of soft play equipment, set-up and take-down services, and up to 5 hours of rental time. Additional hours can be purchased at a prorated fee.
  • Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?
    Delivery, set up and pick up is included for areas within 25 miles of downtown Loveland Ohio. Outside of that, we charge $2 per mile to cover our expenses for travel and set up.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. Full payment is due upon booking confirmation.
  • Is a deposit required?
    No deposit is required at the time of booking. Full payment is required to secure your reservation.
